About Us

We are passionate about building technologies and companies that make a difference.

Assistly is founded by 4 experienced technology professionals who have worked together for the better part of 2 decades. The team has a long history of building scalable internet applications, customer support software, and reporting / analytics platforms. 1996 marked the beginning of the team's journey together with eShare Technologies, one of the original providers of web based customer support software. After 3 years of exponential growth eShare was acquired by Melita International, a public company which later changed its name and ticker symbol to eShare (NASDAQ:ESHR).

Following eShare, the team continued their passion for customer support by launching eAssist Global Solutions, a SaaS CRM / customer support platform. eAssist integrated case management with mutli-channel communications to deliver a comprehensive customer support solution leveraged by large enterprises in banking, cable and media. eAssist was acquired in early 2004 by Talisma, a company in the customer support software space.

In mid 2004, the team founded Goowy Media, a web dashboard and widget analytics company. Goowy was funded by Mark Cuban and after 4 years was acquired by AOL to help distribute and track AOL's content across the web. After almost 2 years at AOL running key components of the AIM platform, the team returned to their roots in customer support software by starting Assistly.
